The main purpose of the MOFSIM2019 workshop is to provide a forum between computational modelers as well as experimentalists that allows for scientific discussions addressing the most important issues regarding the four topics. To ensure that these discussions can be conducted in an organized and productive fashion, the number of participants will be limited. Therefore, the procedure to apply for the workshop consists of three steps as given below. This procedure is not applicable for invited speakers; they are not required to take any further steps.

Application procedure

Step 1: Apply for participation

The deadline for application is set at January 31, 2019.

Fill in the online application form below to apply for participation to the workshop. Be sure to indicate the topic(s) corresponding to your field of expertise and motivate how you envision to contribute during the discussions. You can indicate if you wish to contribute to the poster session and submit an abstract according to the provided template. Although the submission of a poster is optional, the organizing committee strongly encourages to do so.

Step 2: Selection and notification of acceptance

The organizing committee will make a selection from all received applications. This selection will be based mainly on the motivation given by the applicants and the submitted poster abstract if available. Once the organizing committee has finished the selection procedure, all applicants will be notified by email whether or not their participation is accepted.

Step 3: Final confirmation and payment

In case your participation is accepted, you will be notified and receive a link for the payment of the registration fee. After successful payment you registration will be confirmed. The registration fee is set at 250 euro and includes the welcome reception, conference dinner, poster session, coffee breaks, and the book of abstracts.
